Based upon criteria specified within The College of New Jersey’s (TCNJ) RFP, which included; fees, range of services proposed, firm’s ability to meet current and anticipated requirements of the College, response to requirements, experience and references, effective July 1 2009 TBS Services, Inc. was pre-qualified by TCNJ to provide on-call professional consulting services for Architectural Services.

To date TBS Services has been engaged by TCNJ in accordance with our on-call professional services contract to perform building roof assessments at seven buildings. The purpose of the assessments is to investigate the existing conditions at the building roofs and provide a report outlining our findings and recommendations for the necessary remedial work of the existing roof systems and associated components. Included within the scope of the roof assessments is an investigation/ evaluation of the existing roof structures to determine the reserve capacity that may be used for the additional loads imposed by a possible future solar panel system retrofit.

The preliminary recommendations outlined within our assessment reports, which will serve as the basis of the design and documentation.
