Villanova School of Law

Villanova School of Law
Villanova, PA

The new Law School building at Villanova University features state-of-the-art classrooms and office facilities. The structure was designed and built according to LEED Silver-certified specifications.

The project team worked closely from the early design phase to ensure the project was focused on sustainability.

The building includes energy efficient heating, cooling, and lighting systems, along with regionally produced building materials. Additionally, a number of the materials selected for use in the building contain recycled content or were produced from FSC certified wood manufacturers. Throughout construction, more than 90% of the construction debris was recycled and ultimately diverted from landfills.

The School of Law exterior consists of a cavity wall construction, featuring Pennsylvania fieldstone and brick veneer, with cast stone coping. The University engaged TBS to provide the professional services required to perform a technical review of the drawings and specifications, construction documentation of the exterior envelope components, shop drawing review, as well as site visits and field reports during the execution of the work.
